Dear all, Just want to share my experience of staying in the hotel. I arrived (after prepaying via Booked.net) with my pregnant wife. She unfortunately didn't have her passport with her. A very unpolite manager (as he introduced himself) Lino explained that a mail with a scan copy of her passport would be OK. I arranged that (and explained to Lino, that he'll get the mail with a scan within half a hour) and asked him a key of the room. He gave me the key (because I had a passport with me) BUT HE DIDN'T LET MY PREGNANT WIFE TO COME INTO THE ROOM IN FRONT OF MANY PEOPLE AT THE RECEPTION!!! She was very tired and started to cry. Kind Lino only let us in after 25 minutes after he's got the mail....My advise to the management - keep Lino away from customers. otherwise you'll loose them all!!!
The person who selects the staff should be given a medal, they are all extremely helpful especially the hard worked catering staff, they also have a waiter with the most welcoming smile ever seen. A happy crowd who create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the hotel.
The air conditioning system arrived on Noah's Ark and unfortunately I think that was the last time it was cleaned.
I liked the location very much. It is very close to a metro station and easy to go to the city. Room is not huge, but clean. Minibar and airconditioning is working well. Bathroom is very convenient, well equipped and clean.
Breakfast is poor. Restaurant is poor, so there is nothing to do in the hotel itself apart from sleeping in the room.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone, who wants to spend his/her holiday in Rome. The location is of the hotel is fine, 50 m from the metro. The journey takes about 20 minutes to the Colosseo for example.
Busstop out in front hotel;busterminal 3 min. Walking;metro station laurentina 3 min.walking. Hotel just outside old center . Excellent location for visiting old rome.!!
It was ok for city- visiting.
close to laurentina metro station
cleaness, no variety in food
is not a hotel of 4 start...
Nice location, clean room, and helpful staff.
Breakfast selection is not the best, especially during the weekend. They at least had scrambled eggs (along with boiled eggs) on Friday morning, my first morning there. But by the next morning, they replaced the scrambled eggs with a pile of plates instead.
Staff talks good English, it might be obvious in some countries, but not in Italy! The room was clean and nice. Breakfast was delicious even though it does not have much variety, but it is more than enough. The hotel worths every penny I paid for. Also, the hotel is so close to a Metro station, which is a great advantage, however, there is not much to see at the hotel area itself. If you have 4-7 days to see Rome, go ahead and book in this hotel, you won't regret.
The hotel does not have enough facilities for people who want to stay all day at the hotel. But it is good enough for those who want to see the city, and get rest at the end of the say at there hotel room.
Nice furniture in the room.
The bed sheet should be changed daily.
Age of the hotel, size of the room, smell of the room, amenities of the room
clean, near to subway/
the room was located to street/
I arrived very early in the morning and the staff allowed me for early check in. The room is quite big and clean. The breakfast was good.
During my stay, there was renovation. In the morning, it was very noisy and disturbed me from continuing to sleep.
good location and friendly staff.
pieces of dry leaves on towel
Nice staff, nice restaurant, hotel close to the metro, rooms are modern and comfortable.
In general the hotel is OK. But our room had a balcony which we had no access to and faced the busy road. Tiny bath. No free wifi. Had to pay extra (city tax), but maybe it is a usual practice. As for "the same line as the Colosseum" - there are only 2 lines in Rome and the hotel is located near the last station. So be prepared to spend half an hour to get to the center. These are all minor disadvantages of course.
